Welcome to Whisked with Lime
Whisked with Lime was created from the belief that home is built in the little things. The meals shared around the table. The smell of something warm in the oven. The comfort of a stocked pantry after a long week. The traditions families create together inside their kitchens.
While real estate helps people find a house,
home is created in the everyday moments that happen after move-in day.
Whisked with Lime is an extension of that idea. It’s a cozy collection of: comforting recipes, practical kitchen wisdom, homemaking inspiration, freezer meal ideas, pantry staples, seasonal traditions, and helpful kitchen guides
designed to help families feel more confident, peaceful, and at home in their kitchens.
From The Cozy Kitchen Handbook to everyday recipes made with love, every part of Whisked with Lime was thoughtfully created to help make life feel: a little warmer, a little calmer, and a little more connected.
Some of the most meaningful memories in life are made in the kitchen. Recipes that make a house feel like home.
Behind Whisked with Lime is Susan Honaker, a wife, mother of eight, Realtor®, advocate, volunteer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, and someone who has always believed that caring for people happens in the little things.
Long before Whisked with Lime became a collection of recipes and kitchen guides, the kitchen itself was already part of everyday life. It was where busy mornings began, where family gathered after long days, where comfort was created during difficult seasons, and where food became one of the simplest ways to love people well.
Acts of service have always been at the center of who Suzann is. Whether helping families through major life transitions, supporting parents during heartbreaking moments through volunteer work, guiding clients through the emotional process of finding a home, or feeding a table full of people she loves, care has always shown up through action.Cooking became one of those actions.
Not in a fancy or perfect way, but in a real life way. The kind of cooking that says: “Sit down and stay awhile.” “You don’t have to carry everything alone.” “I made this thinking of you.”
Whisked with Lime was created from that same heart.
A love for: cozy kitchens, comfort food, homemaking, hospitality, meaningful traditions, and creating spaces that feel warm and welcoming.
Susan believes some of life’s best memories are built quietly:
soup simmering on the stove, late-night conversations in the kitchen, holiday baking with family, handwritten recipes,
and meals made with love even on ordinary Tuesdays.
What began as a simple love for feeding people slowly became something more, a way to help others create homes that feel peaceful, comforting, and lived in.
Home has never just been about the house itself. It’s about the feeling people experience inside of it.
With a Sprinkle of Lime, thoughtfully made with love.

Most people were never actually taught how to confidently run a peaceful kitchen.
Not the practical things. Not the little tricks that make cooking easier. Not how to stock a pantry, stretch ingredients, build flavor, freeze meals, or create comforting meals during busy seasons of life.
The Cozy Kitchen Handbook was created to change that.
This isn’t just a recipe collection.
It’s a beautifully designed guide filled with practical kitchen wisdom, cozy homemaking inspiration, freezer meal ideas, pantry staples, baking basics, scratch-made mixes, hospitality tips, and the kind of everyday kitchen confidence that makes a house feel like home.
Whether you’re feeding a busy family, learning to cook, rebuilding routines, or simply wanting your kitchen to feel calmer and more comforting. Take a look at the preview.

Meal planning does not need to be complicated to be helpful. Start with: 3–4 simple dinners, one easy breakfast option, one freezer meal,
and flexible ingredients that can be reused throughout the week. Instead of planning perfectly, focus on reducing stress and decision fatigue. Helpful tip: Choose “theme nights” like:Taco Tuesday, Soup Night, Pasta Nightto simplify planning.

Some of the most affordable comfort meals include: chili, baked pasta, potato soup, tacos, breakfast for dinner, casseroles, chicken and rice, homemade soup with bread. Meals built around: rice, pasta, potatoes, beans, and slow cooker proteins can stretch beautifully while still feeling comforting and filling.
Proper storage dramatically extends the life of produce. Helpful tips: keep berries dry until use, wrap celery in foil, store herbs in water jars, keep onions and potatoes separate, add paper towels to lettuce containers. Small storage habits help reduce waste and save money.
During difficult or overwhelming seasons, simple comfort foods can help life feel more manageable. Some favorite comforting meals include: soup and grilled cheese, baked potatoes ,breakfast casseroles, crockpot chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese, chili, warm bread and butter. Comfort food is often less about complexity and more about familiarity and warmth.
